American asset manager Northern Trust has appointed Dave Sauvarin as the new head of its Guernsey business.
Sauvarin will take up the new responsibility on 2 April 2018. He succeeds Belinda Aspinall, who will now take on a senior position in the London office of Northern Trust.
Sauvarin most recently served as the chief risk officer for the firm’s Channel Islands business. He joined Northern Trust in 1995 and previously was the head of governance services at Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services (Guernsey).
In the new role, Sauvarin will report to the firm’s EMEA president Teresa Parker.
“We are delighted to appoint Dave to lead our business in Guernsey. His experience and local expertise across our alternative investment fund administration business will ensure through his leadership we continue to best meet our clients’ requirements,” Parker noted.
