Japanese financial group Nomura has named Fred Jallot as the new head of global markets for EMEA.

Jallot will be based in London and will also join the EMEA and wholesale executive committees.

He will report to the firm’s head of wholesale and global markets Steve Ashley and EMEA head Jonathan Lewis.

Jallot, with an experience of over two decades in the industry, worked in various senior management roles. He most recently served as the EMEA head for trading and structuring at Citi.

“Fred brings proven expertise in team leadership, risk management, product development and technology innovation, and he will play a key role in driving the success of our Global Markets business in EMEA,” Lewis said.
