Japanese financial company Nomura Holdings has named Sudhir Nemali as the `managing director and chief operating officer (COO) of its international wealth management division, reported Reuters citing an internal memo.

Operating out of Singapore, Nemali will report to Nomura’s COO of global markets Aleem Jivraj and its head of international wealth management Ravi Raju.

His role will involve collaborating with the international wealth management (IWM) management team and corporate partners to drive the expansion of Nomura’s wealth management services.

Nomura’s spokesperson has confirmed the details of the internal memo.

Nemali has more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management sector.

He is moving to Nomura from Deutsche Bank, where he served as the COO for wealth management and the private bank division across Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, and Latin America.
