The wealth management division of Nomura Holdings, created in June 2014, combines the bank’s wealth management platforms in Japan and Asia, the firm said.

Before joining Nomura, Chen held various positions at Morgan Stanley including head of Private Wealth Management, Singapore. Prior to that, she worked at Lehman Brothers in equity derivative structured sales.

Nobuhiro Sano, co-head of Wealth Management AEJ, commented on the appointment saying: "With her extensive experience and proven leadership skills, we are confident that Amanda will successfully help me lead the Singapore team, work with other divisions and further enhance Nomura’s Wealth Management business in the region."
