Deutsche Bank has appointed Nick Reeves as the new head of UK financial planning, effective January next year.

“I am excited at the prospect of joining the Deutsche Bank Wealth Management UK leadership team at a time when the business is poised for growth,” Reeves stated.

Reeves most recently served at British wealth management firm Tilney. Previously, he also had stints at Barclays as well as Grant Thornton.

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management UK head Michael Morley said: “We are committed to building a model advice-led wealth management business in the UK and Nick’s proven experience both as a financial planner and a leader of a team of planners makes him ideal to head our UK financial planning business.”

The latest appointment comes shortly after the bank’s appointment of Aditya Mishra as the head of its global south Asia team. Mishra most recently served at Credit Suisse, where he worked for eight years.

Earlier this year, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management hired Claudio de Sanctis to serve as its head of Europe. Sanctis too joined from Credit Suisse.
