A.W. Jones Advisors, a New York-based registered investment adviser, has launched a new wealth management firm that will focus on alternative investments.

The new firm, dubbed A.W. Jones Private Advisors, will cater to HNWIs, family offices, endowments and foundations, offering them exposure to traditional equity, fixed income, hedge fund, private equity and real-estate strategies.

It will leverage in-house investment research to deploy tailored investment solutions.

The new entity will be headed by A.W. Jones Company CIO Robert Burch and Thomas Haug, president. A.W. Jones Company is one of the earliest multi-manager funds with a 33-year track record.

Avi Rosenblatt will serve as the CFO and CCO of the new firm, while David Leveroni will serve as its head of investment research.

“We are creating a firm where advisors have a voice and can tend to their client needs by allocating portfolios in an independent and tailored fashion, while also being additive to the firm’s investment philosophy and culture. We are seeing more sophisticated advisors and teams choosing boutique firms as the path to best benefit their clients,” Haug stated.

“We expect A.W. Jones Private Advisors to grow rapidly—both organically and inorganically—by providing advisors with independence and flexibility,” Burch said.
