Boston Partners, a US-based investment management firm, has launched a new office in London.
Through the new office, the company aims to gain greater access to European companies and clients in the European market.
The office will support over $14bn in sub-advised UCIT assets under management, and $2.2bn in separately managed accounts across nine Europe-based institutional clients, the firm said.
The office will be headed by Joshua Jones, a portfolio manager on Boston Partners Global and International products. Distribution from the new office will be managed by senior product specialist William Pawson.
“We’re pleased to announce the official opening of our London office. As clients seek better visibility to understand Boston Partners’ investment edge, our proximity to key European markets will help clients recognise the value of the firm’s tested, ‘three-circle’ approach to active management,” Jones stated.
Boston Partners offers a range of investment strategies including value equity, long/short equity, global and international equity, global long/short, small and micro cap equity, and volatility harvesting. The firm managed $90.6bn as at 31 March 2017.
