New York based MUFG Union Bank has appointed Mike Feldman as its new head of branch and private banking.
In his expanded role, Feldman will continue to oversee the bank’s network of more than 400 retail branches in California, Oregon and Washington.
Feldman, who joined Union Bank in 2009, will report to Pierre Habis, the head of MUFG Union Bank’s consumer and business banking groups.
Prior to joining Union Bank, Feldman had worked with Countrywide Bank as managing director of retail banking and served as president and chief executive officer of Countrywide Investment Services apart from providing services to Wells Fargo as senior vice president and Community Banking president.
Pierre Habis, head of consumer and business banking groups at MUFG, said, "Mike is a proven leader, and his extensive experience and success leading investment services and licensed banker programs made him the obvious choice to lead Private Banking. Mike will work with me and other senior leaders to help manage the bank’s affluent strategy and ensure that we offer best-in-class products and services to this valued segment."
