American investment research firm Morningstar has named Jason Dubinsky as its new CFO, effective 24 July 2017.
Dubinsky will be responsible for managing the firm’s finance functions such as controllership, tax, internal audit, financial planning and analysis, treasury and investor relations. He will report to the firm’s CEO Kunal Kapoor.
Dubinsky, who has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, most recently held the role of senior vice president and CFO of planning and central operations at Walgreens Boots Alliance. He joined Walgreens in 2009.
He previously also worked as vice president of investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers.
“We’re incredibly pleased to welcome Jason into the role of chief financial officer as we continue to chart Morningstar’s future growth. Jason’s experience building a global finance organization, driving operational excellence, and connecting strategic priorities to financial goals will meaningfully impact Morningstar’s future success,” Kapoor stated.
