The Mirabaud Group has launched an M&A advisory service – Mirabaud Advisors – dedicated to mid-cap transactions, of around €50m-250m ($59 – 296).
The Mirabaud Advisors platform will offer tailored, high-value added support to entrepreneurs and family-owned companies in France and Switzerland across the development cycle of businesses.
The advisory firm hopes to provide high impact financial advice to entrepreneurs and shareholders of high-potential mid-caps.
This includes private equity funds, investment holding companies, or industrial and strategic buyers in areas such as: sourcing of dealflow, disposals/acquisitions, buyouts, capital raising – equity, debt and hybrid financing, and reorganisation of shareholder structures.
The firm is also well place to advise major listed or unlisted groups, particularly in the context of asset arbitrages.
Working in tandem with the broader group, the new business will be led by two experienced investment bankers – Stéphane Benouaich and Andreas Plattner.

Plattner, who spent the last 15 years in in PwC’s corporate finance department, said: “Our ambition is to assist our entrepreneurial clients and family companies over the long term, often well in advance of transactions. We also aim to be a preferred partner of private equity funds and investment holding companies in the generation of investment and build-up opportunities, as well as to support refinancing and exit processes.”
