Swiss private bank Mirabaud is relocating its Basel branch to the Hardhof building and has hired four new bankers for the office.
The newly appointed bankers will be responsible for developing the firm’s wealth management operations in the north-west of Switzerland.
The bankers include Kaspar Hess, who previously led the entrepreneurs and executives segment in northern Switzerland at Credit Suisse.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2008, Hess served a sales manager for central and north-west Switzerland at Hotelplan.
Mirabaud Group limited partner Nicolas Mirabaud said: “These new additions to the team will place their professional skills at the service of our clients. As with Zurich, where we have been present since 1998, Basel is a major hub for private management in Switzerland.
“By adding to its Basel team and moving its branch into a prestigious historical building, Mirabaud is showing that while it is a Group on an international scale, it still has its roots in Switzerland.”
