Merrill Lynch, the retail brokerage arm of Bank of America, has hired three brokers from rival Morgan Stanley in New York and Washington, D.C.
The advisors Addison Sherman, Mary Tomkins and Angelo Mamone managed a combined US$324 million in client assets and had an annual production of US$3.2 million.
According to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records, Addison and Tompkins joined Citigroup in 1993 and Mamone joined in 2008. All three remained when its Smith Barney brokerage merged with Morgan Stanley in 2009.

According to Reuters, advisor Michael Abbenante joined Merrill’s Washington D.C. office from Morgan Stanley, where he managed US$110 million in client assets and had an annual revenue production of US$1.1 million.
