Market Strategies International, a Michigan-based market research consultancy, has acquired Cogent Research, a Massachusetts-based market research firm with deep expertise in wealth management.
The principals of Cogent, John Meunier and Christy White, will co-lead Market Strategies’ new Syndicated Division as managing directors. Tony Ferreira of Cogent will join Market Strategies’ Financial Services Division, where he will be a senior vice president and sector lead for wealth management.

Moving forward, Market Strategies’ syndicated products will be known as Cogent Reports. Cogent’s 25 employees will remain at 125 CambridgePark Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
