British hedge fund firm Man Group has made a string of appointments within its diversified quantitative investment management division Man AHL.
These include appointments of Matthew Sargaison and Antoine Forterre as the new co-CEOs at Man AHL. The two will replace Sandy Rattray, who will now serve as CIO at a Group level and retain overall responsibility for Man AHL.
Sargaison previously served as CIO at Man AHL, and joined the firm in 2009 in the capacity of chief risk officer. Forterre joined Man AHL in 2015 in the role of COO and was earlier tasked with overseeing corporate development and treasury functions at Man Group since 2011.
Nick Granger, who formerly served as deputy CIO and co-head of research, has now been named CIO and will assume overall responsibility for investment management as well as research.
Russell Korgaonkar, who most recently served as head of portfolio management, has been appointed as director of investment strategies. Korgaonkar will now oversee the institutional solutions business at Man AHL.
Forterre will now be replaced as COO by Kate Straker, who formerly managed product strategy and project management.
