Lombard Odier Investment Managers (Lombard Odier IM) has hired Charles St-Arnaud as senior investment strategist, a newly created role.
St-Arnaud, previously a G10 FX strategist and economist at Nomura, will be responsible for developing Lombard Odier IM’s investment strategy with a focus on French-speaking markets.
He will be based in London and will report to the firm’s chief investment strategist Salman Ahmed.
St-Arnaud previously also worked at the Department of Finance Canada, Morgan Stanley and Bank of Canada.
“Charles brings a valuable combination of skills to Lombard Odier IM and with the appointment of someone of his calibre we are able to continue delivering rigorous and prudent investment analysis within a new paradigm of investing,” Ahmed noted.
