Wealth and succession planning solutions provider Lombard International Assurance has named Florent Albert as the managing director for its business in Europe.
In the new role, Albert will spearhead the firm’s strategic and tactical agenda in Europe.
He currently also serves as the firm’s group CFO, a role he has held since last August 2019 and will retain in addition to the new responsibility.
His stint at the firm started in 2015 as CFO for Europe.
Albert noted: “In an increasingly changeable world and volatile global economy, and with the mobile and multi-jurisdictional needs of our clients continuing to accelerate, it’s never been more important for investors to review their wealth and succession planning strategies.”
In his financial career of more than two decades, Albert also worked at Continentale d’Entreprises (Artemis Group), GE Group, RSA Insurance, and MetLife France.
