Live Oak Bank, a North Carolina-based lender that provides financial solutions to small businesses, has launched its own investment advisory business.
The new entity, named Live Oak Private Wealth, will operate as a subsidiary of the bank and offer wealth and investment management strategies to HNWIs.
The business will be led by Andy Basinger, Jason Carroll, Bill Coleman and Connor Keller as managing directors.
Live Oak Bank president Scott Custer said: “We have set up an extremely talented team that is able to deliver a unique approach while leveraging technology to innovate in new ways across the industry.”
Basinger and Coleman have an experience of over 16 years and 32 years, respectively, in the investment industry.
Carroll joined Live Oak Bank five years ago, and formerly was the bank’s managing director of the investment advisory lending team. His financial services career of over 20 years also includes a stint at Charles Schwab.
