Lincoln Financial Network (LFN), the retail private client business of Lincoln Financial Group, has appointed Gene Tannenbaum as managing director of Lincoln Financial Advisors (LFA), with responsibility for leading the Metro New York/New Jersey Regional Planning Group.
Tannenbaum will manage the Long Island, New Jersey and New York regional planning offices responsible for recruiting and retaining advisors and driving sales growth and overall strategy execution for the region.
Based in Rye Brook, New York, Tannenbaum will report to John DiMonda, senior vice president, head of Lincoln Financial Advisors.
"Having been in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, Gene is a recognized leader with a proven track record of surpassing business goals," said DiMonda. "I look forward to his many contributions to our team."
Tannenbaum joins Lincoln Financial Advisors from Woodbury Financial Services, where he served from 2005 to 2013 as a regional vice president, in Poughquag, New York, for the northeast region.
Prior to joining Woodbury, Tannenbaum held the role of general agent with The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. Prior to his tenure with Guardian, Tannenbaum held the role of field manager at Prudential Insurance and Prudential Financial Services from 1991 to 1999.
