As part of its targeted regional expansion, UK-based firm LGT Wealth Management has appointed three new hires to its Manchester office.
Simon Reeks, Fahim Amdani, and Michael Waddington are the three new members of LGT Wealth Management’s team.
The team has been actively searching for chances for strategic growth since the establishment of its Manchester office in March.
With more than 30 years of expertise, Reeks has worked as an investment manager for high-net-worth individuals, pension funds, corporations, family trusts, and charitable organisations throughout the UK. He was head of private clients at Midas Investment Management and most recently a Partner at Evelyn Partners before joining LGT Wealth Management.
Secondly, Amdani had held positions in private banking at JP Morgan and Barclays before joining UBS as a wealth manager. Having worked in the financial services industry for 14 years, he has advised wealthy families on multigenerational wealth structuring and investments in a variety of asset classes.
Lastly, Waddington joins the team as office manager after spending the previous seven years at Evelyn Partners (previously Tilney). With over 40 years of operational expertise in the stockbroking and wealth management industries, Waddington will be ready to assist clients and expand the client service staff in Manchester.
