Lazard Asset Management has launched an Ucits-compliant long/short Global Hexagon Equity fund.
The fund will utilize a bottom-up stock selection and intends to achieve long-term capital by investing in global assets including developed and emerging markets, while focusing on risk management and capital preservation.
Officially launched on 31 October, the fund is managed by Lazard portfolio manager Jean-Daniel Malan.
Malan said, "We continuously screen globally for undervalued companies that have improving or high and sustainable financial productivity.
"Our aim is to give our clients exposure to differentiated and often under-researched investments that offer the best asymmetric risk/reward outcomes."
