French asset manager La Francaise Group has acquired 100% ownership of Inflection Point Capital Management UK (IPCM), its London-based joint venture with sustainability expert Matthew Kiernan, for an undisclosed sum.
IPCM was founded in 2013 to support the development of responsible investment research, advisory services and related investment products.

The firm helped develop the Strategically Aware Investment (SAI) approach in all equity portfolios and selected fixed income products at La Française.
IPCM will now be rebranded, while its CEO Kiernan will step down at the end of June this year but will remain as its non-executive board member.
The French asset manager said that gaining the full ownership of IPCM will strengthen innovation capacity in responsible investment.
IPCM managing director Roland Rott said: “With a simplified structure IPCM will be fully aligned with the Group’s investment strategy. We will jointly drive ESG integration and sustainable investment across all asset classes of La Française. Our focus is two-fold: managing non-financial data and generating respective investment insights in close co-operation with portfolio management teams of the Group.”
