Kleinwort Hambros, the private banking and wealth management unit of Societe Generale, has named Christophe Huchet as the new CEO of its Channel Islands business.
Huchet was formerly the deputy CEO of the business, a role he took up in January last year. He will assume the new role immediately.
Based in Jersey, he will now be tasked with developing business strategy.
At the same time, he will be responsible for offering banking, investment and wealth management solutions to domestic and international clients and financial intermediaries.
Huchet joined Societe Generale 16 years ago. He held various senior roles at the firm including the COO of its Milan branch.
Kleinwort Hambros CEO John Maitland said: “With his strong credentials and experience in the banking industry, we are extremely pleased that Christophe has taken up the key role of CEO for the Channel Islands.
