Kleinwort Hambros has appointed Fahad Kamal as its chief investment officer with immediate effect.

Since 2012, Kamal has led the bank in developing and articulating its macroeconomic views and translating these into strategy.

Previously, Kamal was chief market strategist. In addition, as chair of the Kleinwort Hambros Investment Committee, he has already executed a number of CIO-level responsibilities.

Furthermore, he will continue to head the strategy and portfolio construction teams.
