KKR Capstone, the operations group that works on KKR investments, has appointed Matthew Claughton as director in Sydney as part of its expansion in Australia.
Prior to joining the global investment firm, Claughton worked as group general manager of Pacific Brands’ work-wear business unit.

Previously, he was a director of strategy and business development at Foster’s Group and started his career at McKinsey.
KKR has started expanding business in Australia this September by adding resources for the global real estate team in Sydney, following the real estate investment in the World Trade Centre in Melbourne.
Frances Lim, director of KKR’s Global Macro Asset and Allocation team, will also relocate to Sydney by the year-end.
Justin Reizes, member of KKR and head of KKR Australia, said, "As a line manager, he brings a track record of managing business, making them more efficient and developing and implementing growth strategies alongside prior experience in corporate strategy and blue-chip consulting."
