KCB Capital Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kenya Commercial Bank Limited, has received license from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to operate as an investment bank under the Capital Markets Act and Regulations.
The investment bank will offer advice on securities to the public or a section of the public, take-overs, mergers, and acquisitions.
Additionally, it will also provide advice on corporate restructuring including companies listed or quoted on a securities exchange, privatization of companies through a securities exchange or underwriting of securities issued or to be issued to the public, and to engage in the business of a stockbroker or dealer.
Furthermore, KCB Capital will also provide investment advisory services.
The new approval will bring the total number of investment advisors authorized by the Capital Markets Authority to 11.
