K2 Intelligence, a US-based management-consulting firm, has opened its new office in Los Angeles to expand its relationships in West Coast industry sector.
The firm has also appointed Brant Tinsley, former managing director of Kroll, to oversee K2’s business intelligence investigations in the Los Angeles office.
The new office will offer a variety of intelligence services including Business Intelligence & Investigations that assists firms in managing investigative issues related to fraud, FCPA investigations, pretransactional due diligence, shareholder activism and corporate contests and fact-finding investigations in support of litigation.
The Los Angeles office will act as a hub for the firm’s private client services team that offers risk management services for high profile, celebrity, and high net worth individuals and family offices.
K2 Intelligence private client services offers physical and cyber risk assessment and preparedness, art risk advisory to protect investments against fraud and theft, and due diligence to evaluate new hires and potential investments.
Additionally, the firm is planning to move some of its cyber investigations and defense team in the new Los Angeles office.
