Jupiter Asset Management has named Jill Barber as its new global head of institutional, effective 16 October 2017.
In her new role, Barber will focus on building the company’s institutional client base in the UK and international markets.

Barber will report to the company’s global head of distribution, Nick Ring.
She is joining Jupiter Asset Management from Franklin Templeton where she was head of Institutional (UK and Ireland) for the past four years.
Previously she was also associated with Hermes Investment Management, Fidelity International and Capital International.
Commenting on the appointment, Ring said: “We believe our focus on unconstrained investing and alpha generation will be of increasing appeal to institutional clients, and (Ms. Barber’s) deep understanding of the market will be invaluable as we look to build on our strong brand and investment performance to increase our presence in this space.”
