Julius Baer North Asia CEO Andrea Benenati said the branch license will attract more clients to Julius Baer and it also allows the bank to further expand product offerings in what is clearly a very exciting and sought-after market.

Julius Baer Asia and the Middle East CEO Thomas Meier said Julius Baer now employs about 400 people in Asia.
"Julius Baer plans to open a representative office in Shanghai and a trust company in Singapore, upon application and regulatory approvals," Meier said.
