Julius Baer has named Urs Brudermann as group head Thailand. He will work out of Singapore and report directly to Shui Wei Ho.
In this recently established position, Brudermann will be in charge of the bank’s joint venture with Siam Commercial Bank, SCB Julius Baer, as well as its coverage of offshore Thailand.
Brudermann joined the Bank with more than 24 years of global wealth management expertise, 12 of which were spent in Singapore, where he held executive positions in many South East Asian markets.
He was the market head for South East Asia at Deutsche Bank, mainly responsible for Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, before joining Julius Baer.
Moreover, Brudermann operated in executive positions at Credit Suisse for 11 years, overseeing teams in Singapore and Hong Kong with an emphasis on Thailand and Malaysia, before joining Deutsche Bank in 2021.
