JP Morgan Asset Management Taiwan is set to consolidate its securities division with its asset management platform, Asia Asset Management has reported.
Following the consolidation, which is expected to take place in March, the company’s securities trading, investment consulting, and asset management operations will be centralised under a single platform.
According to a company spokesperson, the consolidation will help the company streamline its business model, and ease subscription to offshore funds for clients.
The spokesperson added that the move will not lead to any job cuts.
Earlier in November 2013, JP Morgan integrated its investment consulting and investment trust units.
The company manages TWD 114.04bn ($3.8bn) in assets as of the end of November 2014.
