British fund manager Janus Henderson has selected BNY Mellon’s global data management platform in a bid to create a unified data store.
The decision to adopt the BNY platform, which allows clients to centralise and manage complex investment assets, in line with Janus Henderson’s data platform transformation strategy.
The move is aimed at enabling Janus Henderson to enhance access to its investment information.
BNY Mellon’s cloud-based solution will set up a unified data architecture and single source of truth for investment intelligence by consolidating sources of information.
BNY Mellon head of Data and Analytics Solutions Charles Teschner said: “We’re excited to work with Janus Henderson to maximise the value of their data, and their selection of our solutions reinforces our position as a leader in providing cloud-based data and analytics capabilities to help meet our clients’ needs.
“This further validates the data management journey that we have been on for several years now, and our proven capabilities and strategy that we executed to build a data platform on Microsoft Azure aligns well with Janus Henderson’s own technology strategy.”
