James Hambro & Partners (JH&P), a London-based wealth manager, has tapped InvestCloud to support digital client communication, automation and management capabilities.

The wealth manager, which oversees more than £3.4bn in assets, will leverage the InvestCloud Blue suite of apps.

The technology is designed to offer managers a complete view of their clients through digitising the client onboarding process, engagement and advice.

InvestCloud co-founder, CEO and chairman John Wise believes that the technology will boost JH&P’s operational efficiency.

Wise noted: “By using the InvestCloud platform, the firm will be able to leap-frog the competition.

“InvestCloud will help it significantly advance not only the way that it communicates with its professional adviser clients – and how they, in turn communicate with their investor clients – but also how it onboards clients.”

This is said to be the largest-ever technology investment by JH&P, though financial details were not disclosed.

The wealth manager anticipates “significant cost savings” through the move.

JH&P CEO Andy Steel said: “We wanted to modernise our client and adviser digital experiences without increasing our IT department. InvestCloud’s innovative solutions will help us future-proof the way that we serve our adviser clients and their end-investor clients alike.

“Client growth and retention is paramount – along with operational efficiency – and InvestCloud enables these.”
