The second Sustainability Report from IQ-EQ, a global provider of investor services, highlights the difficulties facing DE&I (diversity, equity, and inclusion) in the asset management sector.

The paper details the steps IQ-EQ is taking to close the DE&I gap in the sector, with a few of the most important ones being:
- Aiding female fund managers through the IQ-EQ Launchpad programme, which was created to assist female fund managers who are starting their first fund and helping it grow. This comprises a full support package that offers customised training and knowledge exchange to female fund managers.
- Promoting women in leadership roles through its Elevate programme, which helps female staff members advance their careers through workshops, guest lecturers, and support groups. Women now make up about 40% of the worldwide management team at IQ-EQ, up from 10% in 2021.
Moreover, the report from IQ-EQ demonstrates the ways in which a diverse workplace, one with a higher proportion of women and young people, contributes to new ideas, technological competence, adaptability, and the organisation’s potential for sustained success.
