Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has appointed former Wealth Management Association (WMA)’s CEO, Tim May, to the IW&I Board as a non-executive director and a member of the remuneration and audit committees.
His previous roles also include chairman of Euroclear UK and Ireland (formerly CrestCo), chief executive of CrestCo and chief operating officer of Gerrard.

Between 1987 and 2002, May held a number of senior positions in IW&I as well as in the wider Investec Group.
Jonathan Wragg, chief executive of IW&I said: "He has a wealth of experience gained from his senior leadership and operational management roles and will be a great asset as we take IW&I to the next phase of its development. Tim’s decision to return to IW&I after having already enjoyed many successful years here underlines our growing reputation in the market."
