Dutch trust operator Intertrust has named Cliff Pearce as its new global head of capital markets, replacing Robert Berry who retired from the firm.

Pearce has an experience of more than two decades in the capital markets sector. In the new role, he will manage the firm’s capital market solutions offering, particularly in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Cayman.

At the same time, he will also be tasked with offering joined up solutions for private equity clients.

Intertrust chief commercial officer H P Van Asselt said: “Cliff has a very strong track record in delivering structured finance transactions and his extensive expertise will help increase the scope of our business relationships and mandates won.

“I’m confident that his appointment will bolster our position as the go to choice for Capital Markets services as we continue in our commitment to delivering the highest quality service for our clients.”
