Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management arm of Crédit Agricole Group, has named Laurent Proutière as chief executive officer Asia and Singapore Branch Manager. Proutière’s tenure will officially begin on 1 March 2025.
Operating from Singapore, Proutière will lead Indosuez’s strategic growth and development initiatives in Asia, further solidifying the bank’s presence in the region.
Reporting to Isabelle Jacob-Nebout, head of wealth management at CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA, he succeeds Omar Shokur, who is leaving the Crédit Agricole Group after more than 20 years of service to pursue other opportunities.
Proutière brings extensive expertise in Asia’s dynamic financial markets, having worked across Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan. His appointment underscores Indosuez’s commitment to delivering personalised and innovative wealth management services tailored to the region’s affluent clients.
The move marks a pivotal moment for Indosuez as it continues to prioritise growth and innovation in Asia’s fast-evolving wealth management landscape.
Jacob-Nebout stated: “We are delighted to welcome Laurent into this role. Laurent brings close to 30 years of experience in financial services including the past two decades at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, predominantly in Asia. He has a deep understanding of the dynamic region and is well-positioned to continue building on Indosuez’s growth in these key markets. We are confident that his leadership will further solidify our position as a trusted partner to our clients in Asia.”
