Indosuez Wealth Management, the Crédit Agricole Group’s worldwide wealth management brand, has appointed Francis Tan as chief strategist for Asia.
Tan has over 20 years of experience in financial services and economic research, making him an expert in the world economy and financial markets, with a focus on Asia and ASEAN.
After more than ten years at United Overseas Bank Group, Tan most recently served as an investment strategist at UOB Private Bank, before joining Indosuez. He had previously held positions with a number of financial services companies, such as Phillip Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Tan, located in Singapore, will serve at the group CIO office and be accountable for developing and communicating Indosuez’s global investment strategies in Asia and converting them into customised portfolio solutions for high-net-worth clients. He will report to Arjan de Boer, head of markets, investments & structuring, Asia.
