Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed Frédéric Lamotte as the new chief executive officer of CA Indosuez Wealth (Miami) and Global Head of Americas.

Indosuez Wealth Management is the global wealth management brand of French banking group, Crédit Agricole, the world’s 13th largest bank by Tier 1 capital.

“The appointment demonstrates Indosuez Wealth Management’s continued commitment to the Americas and the intention to further develop its wealth management activities in this key market,” a statement from the company said.

“Frédéric’s international experience and his extensive banking expertise will benefit the bank in developing synergies between all of Crédit Agricole group’s businesses in the region.”

Frédéric Lamotte has been a part of Indosuez for over 30 years, joining Banque Indosuez in 1988 as a member of Assets & Liabilities Management at Saudi French Bank His career has also taken him to Singapore, Japan and Switzerland and he was most recently Indosuez’s chief investment officer, a position he had occupied since 2012.

The appointment closely follows that of Mathie Ferragut, who was named as the new CEO of CFM Indosuez Wealth, the subsidiary of the wealth management group based in Monaco.

Lamotte assumed his new roles at the start of 2019, based in Indosuez’s North American headquarters in Miami.

As of 2018, Indosuez Wealth Management group had €118 billion in assets under management.
