Indosuez Wealth Management, a brand of Crédit Agricole group, has appointed Nicolas Bayet as head of markets and investment solutions for Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy and Spain.
Bayet in his new role will be based in Luxemburg and will supervise the markets and investment solutions teams of the Grand-Duchy as well as its branches in Belgium, Italy, and Spain.
He will also be responsible for the company’s ‘Investing Wealth’ services in Luxembourg and executing the investment plan locally, the company said in its press statement.
Bayet will be reporting to Olivier Chatain, deputy director and CEO of CA Indosuez (Wealth) Europe and Frédéric Lamotte, chief investment officer of Indosuez Wealth Management Group.
Before joining Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2002, he worked as a sell-side equity analyst at Puilaetco in Brussels. He went on to become Edmond de Rothschild’s deputy chief investment officer in 2006.
Bayet moved to HSBC Private Bank in 2011 as head of investment management in Monaco. He was made member of the company’s Executive Committee in 2014 and was elevated to the role of head of investment services and product solutions group the same year.
