HSBC Private Banking has turned to wealth management software provider Finantix in order to introduce a new global client wealth management portal.

According to the vendor, the launch is the result of a close collaboration with the bank to offer “Finantix Components business logic, insights, user journey standards and interfaces with its core banking platform”.

At present, the solution has been launched in the UK, but there are plans for a broader roll-out later.

Finantix co-founder Alessandro Tonchia said: “We are proud to have delivered a powerful, scalable and client-focused global solution.

“HSBC Private Banking built the portal incorporating Finantix Components APIs and, in doing so, are creating a consistent, modern omni-device experience, easy and secure self-service access to accounts, portfolio information and analytics.”

Earlier this month, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management tapped Finantix for an AI-powered KYC solution.

Currently, Deutsche Bank has made the solution available in Germany and plans to launch it in the US eventually.

Two months ago, Finantix appointed Tim Wood as its new CFO.

Last March, Finantix purchased smartfolios which offers quant-enabled investment tools.

In December 2018, Motive Partners agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Finantix.
