HSBC has set up a new International Banking Centre (IBC) in Sliema, Malta, which will focus on serving customers who travel extensively or who are relocating to or from Malta.
The centre, located on the first floor of the bank’s branch in High Street, will offer customised services in banking, lending, investment, and international account opening to both residents and non-resident personal banking customers in the country, The Malta Independent Online reported.
HSBC Malta International Banking Centre head Christian Debono told the publication: "A dedicated team of 17 personnel will assist clients.
"Customers will be able to benefit from the outstanding combination of local knowledge and the international strength, connectivity and experience of HSBC’s global network. We are committed to delivering high-quality integrated banking, wealth planning, investment solutions and lending."
