HSBC Global Private Banking, Americas has launched the US-Asia Corridor team, comprising wealth management professionals with personal ties to Asian culture.
The team will include relationship managers, investment counsellors, credit advisers, wealth planners and account support staff. They will be based in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

Moreover, the new team will be fluent in Cantonese as well as Mandarin.
Commenting on the development, HSBC Global Private Banking, Americas market head, international, Mitch Palminteri said: “Given our 150 plus year history of connecting these markets, there is no firm better positioned to understand the unique needs of clients and prospects who come from this part of the world.”
The launch of the new team comes close on the heels of HSBC Global Private Banking’s expansion into Seattle.
