He will report to HSBC Global Asset Management head of real estate investment Guy Morrell and HAIL CEO Steven Ward.

Williams most recently served as a senior director in the investment team at CBRE. His tenure at CBRE spanned 16 years.

In addition, HAIL also hired Sonal Saluja for its real estate investment team.

Saluja most recently served at 90 North Real Estate Partners and will report to Williams in the new role.

“These significant hires form part of a strategic initiative to strengthen further our direct property investment capabilities. This initiative, in which Tim and Sonal will play a key role, is in response to identified client demand for physical property investments,” Morrell noted.
