Atlanta-based wealth management firm Homrich Berg has hired Thomas Carroll as its new president.
Carroll joins the company after a career at SunTrust Bank where he held positions such as CEO of GenSpring Family Offices, SunTrust’s subsidiary.
He will join the management team at Homrich Berg and assist with leadership.
Most recently, Carroll was the head of Division Wealth Management at SunTrust Bank. Before working at GenSpring, he was also the head of the sports & entertainment specialty grouop for SunTrust. He has spent the entirety of his career in the wealth management sector, first as an adviser before transitioning into leadership roles.
Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Wake Forest University and is a Certified Financial Planner. He also serves on the leadership council of Zoo Atlanta and on the Board of Trustees for the Atlanta Sports Council, he Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, the Atlanta Police Foundation and Young Harris College.
