Hawksford, an international corporate, private client and funds business, has named Darren Kelland as the new global head of private clients to lead and further develop the strategic direction of its private client division.
In the new role, Kelland will lead a team based across Jersey and Asia. He will focus on enhancing family office propositions to serve most affluent families across the globe.
Kelland is a chartered accountant with 13 years of experience in private client business. He previously served as head of private wealth at Intertrust. Prior to that, he worked as director and head of the family office team.
Being a member of Intertrust’s risk assessment committee, Kelland played a key role in overseeing integration of Allied Trust Company.
Kelland said: “Jersey will continue to play a key role in servicing the requirements of these individuals. This provides us with an exciting opportunity to further develop Hawksford’s well established and highly regarded private client offering.”
