Specialist asset manager Gresham House has appointed Michael Hart to the newly created role of head of distribution.
Hart will oversee the development of Gresham’s new long-term investment solutions business targeted at family offices and institutional investors.
At the same time, he will also manage the distribution across the firm’s alternative product range covering strategic public equity, private equity and real assets divisions. He will report to the company’s managing director Rupert Robinson.
Hart has an experience of over two decades in the asset management industry. He most recently worked as global head of business development at Amundi Alternative Investments.
Previously, he also served as global head of business development at the alternative solutions unit of Aberdeen Asset Management.
“We are pleased to have attracted someone of Michael’s quality to lead our distribution activity. He is joining Gresham House at a particularly important time in our development following the announcement of our proposed acquisition of Hazel Capital, the specialist new energy infrastructure manager,” Robinson noted.
