American investment bank Goldman Sachs has inked an agreement to connect its trading platform Goldman Sachs Liquidity Solutions Portal with the treasury management system (TMS) of software firm GTreasury.
The integration is the result of GTreasury’s tie-up with Goldman Sachs & Co (GS&Co.) and Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM).
The aim is to offer a streamlined workflow for investing in money market funds.
GSAM global head of liquidity solutions client business Kathleen Hughes said: “Greater automation and integrated information will not only save time by simplifying the process but will also give corporate treasury teams the information they need to make the best investment decisions for their needs.”
The integration is said to enable users to see the “big picture” of their investments in dashboards and enter the Goldman Sachs Liquidity Solutions Portal through a single sign-on to GTreasury.
After this, users will be able to select a money market fund and carry out their trades.
Data will automatically flow back into GTreasury if the user wants so.
GTreasury global head of corporate development Terry Beadle said: “Connecting treasury’s ecosystem of third-party bank and fintech vendor processes into a seamless workflow will be essential for corporates that want the easiest route to scale and efficiency.”
