Bryon Lake has been named chief transformation officer for Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Client Solutions Group by the Goldman Sachs Group. He has joined as a New York-based partner.

In this recently established role, Lake will collaborate with leadership throughout client channels to provide guidance, develop portfolio solutions, and broaden the range of investment strategies offered by Goldman Sachs Asset Management to institutional investors and wealth management customers.

Lake will concentrate on improving cross-functional connection and resource alignment, with a special emphasis on public markets, in order to expedite our growth ambitions.

Moreover, Lake was most recently the global head of ETF Solutions at JPMorgan Asset Management before joining Goldman Sachs. He also occupied important executive roles at PowerShares and Invesco before joining JPMorgan.

The Client Solutions Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management oversees worldwide client strategy, capital creation, strategic partners, product strategy, and capital markets activities spanning the firm’s alternatives investments and public market investing teams.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management remains the most significant OCIO manager in the United States, with more than $325bn in AUS, the insurance asset manager with $423bn in general account assets, and SMA provider with more than $360bn in SMA AUS.
