The Glenmede Trust Company, a US-based investment and wealth management firm, has appointed Rhonda Cohen as the new chairman of the board of directors.

Cohen, a law practitioner for two decades, joined the board in 2008. She currently works on the firm’s compensation Committee as well as the Relationship Oversight Committee.

She previously was a partner in law firm Ballard Spahr. At presently, she serves as campaign co-chair for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

Cohen replaces Joseph Pew, who passed away in June 2017. Pew had been serving as chairman since 2004.

Glenmede CEO, president and CIO Gordon Fowler said: “During her nearly decade-long tenure on our board of directors, Rhonda has proven to be a thoughtful contributor and colleague. She will be an exemplary leader, building upon Dr. Pew’s legacy and helping to guide Glenmede well into the future.”
