Germany UHNWIs by Sector: Germany is the fourth largest economy in the world and the largest economy in Europe and it also the 4th highest number of HNWIs in the world after the US, Japan and China. As of 2011, there are just over 1,253,000 HNWIs in Germany, with a combined wealth of US$3.9 trillion.

As of 2011, Manufacturing (including automotive) and retail & fashion are the two main industries in which UHNWIs have accumulated their wealth, serving as the source of wealth for 19.5% and 15.5% of UHNWIs, respectively.
